Dr. Nageena Parasher
Dr. Nageena Parasher (pear-a-sher) diagnoses, manages and treats the full spectrum of refractive and ocular conditions. She has a passion for Optometry and has a special interest in family eye care, medical optometry, and low vision. Dr. Parasher received her Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. She is residency trained in primary eye care and ocular disease from the Malcom Randall Veteran’s Hospital in Gainesville. She has presented at regional and national conferences.
Dr. Parasher is a Tampa native, having graduated from Berkeley Preparatory School and the University of South Florida for her Masters in Medical Sciences. She received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at the University of Miami.
When not working, she enjoys watching the Tampa Bay Lightning, traveling, and spending time with her two little dogs.
